well we don’t have an offline store at the moment, you can shop from our lovely online store matsyacrafts.com.…
we love to travel, meet people, experience different culture’s & do exhibition’s, display our handcrafted product’s to a few like minded store’s in & out of mumbai, collaborate with existing lovely online e-commerce portals such as shopo,unwrap,etc…. not to forget our first order was from facebook, followed by the blog & twitter!
yes very soon we are in the process of having our own store:)
scouting for some lovely store space’s, garages, empty houses, in the right location’s in & out of mumbai, goa to display & bridge the gap of rural artisan’s, ngo’s shg’s, micro-enterprise’s who are engaged in making craft’s from rural India.

About Me
Hi, I am Neha - an artist, a potter and a crafts' lover. My travails with arts and crafts began by dabbling with paint and colour since my teens Studying Fine Arts at Sir J.J School of Arts , Mumbai and then Studio pottery at Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry intensified my love for the subject and honed my skills as well. I embarked on my journey by working extensively in Gujarat and Maharshtra. My own contributions and learnings from others helped me gain myriad experiences and sharpen a multiple set of skills in the sector. I absolutely enjoyed my three months stint with matsya. Understood the functioning of a social enterprise, the hardships faced while working with the artisans in explaining the designs and the learnt how to be patient while the whole order is executed…The products at matysa are all hand-made and very unique…made with an eye-for-details….they are not mass-produced and hence each and every product is unique and no two products are alike..I will cherish the time spent at matsya and even after having a good 12 years of work experience, I still learned a lot…My best wishes to Neha and I’m sure she’ll take matsya to great heights…
