I witnessed some very interesting moments and experiences all through the year and thought of sharing some ……
a digital agency “flying cursor“ based in mumbai not only offered their office space but provided a complete support in design & how showed me the importance power of internet & social media. With 12 members on face book we have reached to 1,933 members today ……
A few ngos,artisans,women entrepreneur decided to join my journey not only from gujarat from across India. Bloggers,Press, friends, customers got us more visiblity.
I organized events & exhibitions & soon a “craft mela” our first big event in partnership with Durga Creations at hiranandani Powai ,in mumbai before diwali on the 29th,30th, 31st october ……
Last year we got some online orders, corporate order a few store queries. A very interesting project such as the craft tour got born in the last six months
the image above represents “tarpa dance” the most significant painting in the warli tribe. The circle represents there is never a beginning & never an end. With this note i continue & take a leap to the larger goals and objectives of matsya.

Hi, I am Neha - an artist, a potter and a crafts' lover. My travails with arts and crafts began by dabbling with paint and colour since my teens Studying Fine Arts at Sir J.J School of Arts , Mumbai and then Studio pottery at Golden Bridge Pottery, Pondicherry intensified my love for the subject and honed my skills as well. I embarked on my journey by working extensively in Gujarat and Maharshtra. My own contributions and learnings from others helped me gain myriad experiences and sharpen a multiple set of skills in the sector.
