On a rainy day i was haunted back to my college, Sir J.J school of fine arts in mumbai. As usual i took a train ticket for cst station On reaching the old beautiful british & roman architecture i walked with pride, greeting loud to some grey hairs from arts & crafts. How can ohe miss the romantic rustic arches further down i stood still when i saw our adda new young faces of boys & girls (adda means a hang out place where people meet & gossip for hours) ( Some vibrant colours on the wall caught my attention

A life size portrait of a man whom we called lakshya, who is still lives in my memories as i write this story our dear laxman (our college canteen owner would always talk in his marathi accent photu kaad re (click photos in marathi)

I still recollect sitting till dark, simply lazing, gossiping around in the canteen sipping chais (tea) & end no of coffees, ordering vada usal, vada paav ( a local snack of mumbai)…..Apart from learning art & craft in those five years i explored & experienced many aspects of mumbai which i don’t think i would ever done otherwise.Going back with my set of volunteers & interns who stumble upon matsya to learn & meet new people like mumbai lovers neil dantas who do photography with purpose , lot of meaning entrepreneurs like daadiwala helped us reconnect better for this informal photo essay as he mentiones . This year we are having some great time exploring new change in all that we do & believe. It was fun to travel & work and I totally unlearned ….
