Something old something new
yes yes you cracked! I exclaim say when i know the students have reached a stage when documents are ready to be published online on our blog An online final document for matsya as part of her graduation project at nift chennai which It all began with a 8 week internship program me & extended taking up a 6 month project with matsya where a student works with the company very closely to design, ideate, execute. Since our internship programmes are structured & intense where student goes through multi tasking inorder to take up more serious future projects at matsya .
Debanjana had not imagined herself going beyond work. Constant support & mentoring helps students to make things work for themselves & us. Her objective was not only to design explore, experience a wider canvas which is very rare at a student phase & create an impact for the handmade & craft industry which she embarked on .
I am extremely thank-ful not only to her but Karthik Sir as she calls him who identified the potential of a student like debanjana for matsya. It was quite challenging for all of us but we did it….three cheers to national institute of fashion technology,India (chennai) & Debanjana Bhattacharya from Calcutta, (Kolkotta) India.
